well, we're back from our trip to st louis and back to work..it was nice to be away from work and not think about real life for a little while, but that's about it.  i think we're done with st louis unless we find a reason to go back.  there's more that we could have done there, but Carla is not crazy about it.  i wouldn't mind going back if i had to go on a business trip or something.  it is a nice town.  the hotel we stayed at was cool...the Hilton at the Ballpark.  we went to a cardinals game, and the stadium is basically 2 blocks away from the hotel, so that was cool.  six flags was o.k., but it is definitely no Disney World. the zoo was free, well, not really cause you have to pay 11 bucks for parking. 

we had an awesome view of the arch from our room on the 23rd floor of our hotel, so that was a bonus. this was our second trip to st louis, so we didn't do the arch this time.  we didn't do a whole lot...mostly just relaxed at the hotel.

oh, i just remembered something...if you are ever in st louis, be sure to look up Gooey Louie Gooey Butter Cakes.  i had never had a gooey butter cake, but, man, I am in love with those things, now.  we'll probably be ordering some from their website.  not sure how to describe gooey butter cakes, but you can check out their website...here and learn more about them.
